Look at all of them!

Each little seedling!

I plant them by the hundreds this time of year.

And, by the hundreds, I touch the miraculous.

Everything needed is within the seedling. 

It knows how.
It knows when.

I only give it a place to grow. And in return:

Fulfillment.

Sunbeams + DNA converted to...

A  calm cup of tranquility. 
Miraculous!

What's In There?

"What's In There?"
Children often ask.

On my farm, we answer that question.

We open those tea bags and examine their contents.

What goes in:   
   Strawberries.... Lavender.... Lemon Balm...

What comes out:
   Some pretty delicious tea.

And then...

Those children make their own tea blends.
All ingredients available.

They learn...

You get to choose what goes in. 

And your choosing reflects the flavor of what comes out.

What goes in:
   Beauty... Love... Joy... 
What comes out: 
   Some pretty delicious experiences.

Empty Your Cup
"Empty your teacup in order to be filled."

A Parable
A learn-ed scholar visits a master teacher.

The Goal: To receive wisdom.
 

The master fills the scholar's teacup.

But continues to pour.

The teacup overflows.

The teacher then asks: 
"How can I fill your mind with fresh, new understanding if your mind is already full of old thinking?"

I want to enter each day with my teacup empty.
Receptive
Curious
Open

And, in so doing, allow it to be filled with each day's
Fresh
New
Understandings

Dear Tea-Drinker,
This month may we consider that what we see on the outside, is a reflection of what is on the inside.

May we fill our own insides with openness, curiosity, love, joy.

And, may we reflect on the miracles contained in every being we encounter.
